Has it really been 5 months since my last entry? The computer doesn't lie. My excuse? Well, Christmas plans, New Years, work, blizzards, the birth of my third child (Feb. 24th), coaching my sons soccer team....you get the idea.
Anyway, it does make me wonder about excuses. Excuses are interesting, becuase sometime there legit and sometimes they're not. To me it's not really about excuses, but about choice. I really CHOSE not to blog for the last five months, but I think it was a good choice. I've been focusing on work, volunteering, and family, which are all (IMHO) better choices than blogging.
Not this takes a huge amount of time, but that leads me to another wonder...time management. Do I really use my time wisely? I always feel like I should do more at work, spend more time with my kids, pour more of myself into my volunteer obligations. I want to do a good job at everything. But can I? Do I have to be the best at everything? Of course not, that's barking up the wrong tree, but that doesn't make the pressure any less real. Sometimes, good enough is good enough, isn't it?
